Any recommended treatments for a teen with ADD?
My younger brother was diagnosed with ADD in the 4th grade. He’s now about to graduate middle school. He’s a good, intelligent kid, but the condition has caused him to do terribly in school and has done a number to his self confidence. My mother has tried everything to help him, drugs, natural medicine doctors…and nothing seems to be working. The drugs caused him to become underweight, and make a lively, social kid, a quiet, tired zombie.
Periodically, he’ll just break down and wants to give up. It’s terrible to watch, and I was just wondering if any new of any new treatments, or methods out there to help this fantastic kid?
