Is it legal for parents to commit minors for drug treatment in Iowa?
Can your parents legally force you to attend any form of drug counseling, classes, treatments etc. if you are a minor in the state of iowa?
I have heard of laws protecting minors from being forced by their parents to get into substance abuse treatments, and i was wondering if there are any of those laws in iowa
……im not in trouble or anything, my parents have just always told me that if they caught me doing drugs they would force me to talk to a drug counselor at ASAC and go from there, so im wondering if they could legally do that
