Last September, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service called the Alaska Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Enforcement. There was an unusual problem. In the woods next to the post office at 36th and Barrow—near Loussac Library—they’d stumbled across what seemed to be a meth lab. Outside, near a campsite.
