N. Clackamas Chamber offers workshop on substance-abusing employees
The workshop, part of the chamber’s Cardio for Business series, will be led by Jerry Gjesvold, manager of employer services for Serenity Lane Health Services. Gjesvold will address employer responsibilities and legal liabilities, the risks of ignoring employee substance abuse, how to observe and document unusual behavior, constructive intervention techniques and how to take action to reduce risk.
