Teen who raised himself heads to West Point
Benjamin Schiff experienced more upheaval in 14 years than most people experience in a lifetime. Schiff never knew his biological father. His stepfather assaulted him, his mother was abusive, then his mother and stepfather divorced. His mother was sent to prison on a parole violation for a robbery in Texas.
