Bulimic, “in recovery,” still want to lose weight?
Question by A.N.B.: Bulimic, “in recovery,” still want to lose weight?
I’m a 19 year old girl turning 20 in a couple of weeks, 5 foot 1 and a half, and I currently weigh 98 pounds and wear a U.S. size zero. I’ve been through intensive day treatment for 5 1/2 months after having bulimia and a serious exercise addiction for a year and a half. I relapsed as soon as I left the program and still exercise compulsively and on a VERY rigid schedule. I had my body fat percentage tested at the gym and it’s 14.5%. I feel as though this is too high. I am an athlete and closely identify myself as one. I run cross country at university- or when I was in university and had to leave to go to treatment for a semester. 🙁 Going back to school this fall, though. Still worked out like crazy and fooled all the therapists. 🙂 Ha. It’s MY CONTROL AND NO ONE CAN TAKE IT fFROM ME! I want to know from some random people other than my dietician if I should lose some more weight so that I can look hot, or what I would perceive as hot, after I get some boob implants of course. I know that I have muscle… but all I see is FAT FAT FAT I have an urge to drop another 8-10 pounds of FAT
Chelsea Smile: So, you’re telling me that you’re allowing yourself to put on weight? It’s girls like YOU who piss me off. THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL THAT I WILL EVER, AND I REPEAT EVER, ALLOW MYSELF TO WEIGH UP TO 110 POUNDS UNLESS IT WAS UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF A CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER EXPERIENCED IN WORKING WITH ATHLETES WHO HAS THE EXPERTISE FOR BODY BUILDING. MUSCLE TAKES UP LESS SPACE IN THE BODY THAN FAT.

at 5 foot 1 you should weigh 105. im sure youre really skinny and uou should just do what makes you happy but being skinnier isnt going to make you happy. youll just want to be skinnier and skinnier. 14.5% fat is not a lot at all. its supposed to be at about 15-21% i think. so dont worry about ur weight. AT ALL

Girls like you piss me off. No matter what anyone tells you, your going to hear what you want to hear. Helloooo! What do you think! America doesn’t even carry a size smaller. Yet all your looking for is reassurance and reinforcement for what your doing. Listen, in the long run. No one who is trying to freaking “control you” will suffer from what your behaviors are doing to your body, esophagus, stomach, and brain.your gonna be 30 pounds (wouldn’t you like that) and your still going to want to weigh less. Funny thing about this Is that what I am saying to you. Will be completely irrelevant and your going to focus on those answers that say “go for it”! So keep on feeling FAT and looking all through websites for diet tips and Anorexia/bulimia support groups! You don’t control it. It controls you.
