Hey, i think one of my friends is doing meth or crack ,its our freshman year in highschool and he is in band, i have looked online and some of what i have read match what me and other friends are seeing. He has constant mood swings one minute hes fine the next he yelling at you, cursing and makin fun of his friends. Like today some guy was poking everyone at the Lunch table (like this guy usually does) and he just flips on him he curses him out and crushes his chips then the guy takes his lunch and flips it over then my friend throws his food at him which was really unnecessary can i please get some feedback thanks. (from a worried friend)
Also is there anything other signs I could look for. Or am i just exagerating this into something to big. And if which one would he be using crack or meth. How could i tell if he is using it with out having to look for many physical features.

Talk to your friend about it and tell him you don’t like how he’s acting lately.If you do happen to find that he is in fact doing drugs and nothing you do or say works, tell somebody.If your school has a specific counselor for this area talk to them about it.you can submit his name anomalously to the office or talk to his parents about it.I know Its not fun being the rat but when it comes to life and death situations like this you have to be the true friend and get him some help before things get worse.and these kinds of drugs can lead to death or a bad path you don’t want to wish on anyone.Let him know all the facts about drugs and what problems they can cause.Find him an adult to talk to too.Do no take this lightly, Tell somebody.

the best way to tell if someone is on something like meth of crack is physical cues.
he will talk through clenched teeth, won’t be able to sit still but will look tired and/or bored all the time, and his eyes won’t have any gleam to them.
he’ll probably also have “the bugs”…he’ll scratch himself repeatedly in the same spot. (usually the neck or inside of the elbow)
