No matter how hard I try, I can’t stop drinking.?
Question by magc550: No matter how hard I try, I can’t stop drinking.?
I also can’t afford rehab so thats ruled out and I don’t have medical insurance. I really try to quit but the cravings are strong and I ended up buying beer. When I don’t drink I get anxious and feel like biting on a piece or wood, that’s how anxious I get. I am frustrated and angry at myself for being so weak. Why do I drink, because it feels good, the buzz that is. It enhances my moods.
I tried exercising but that doesn’t help the cravings. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Quit being so weak minded. Stick to it and quit being a puss about it.
I had the same problem with worse stuff.
Just think, is this how your parents raised you?
Would they be proud of you?
Is this really how you want to live life?
Why waste it is a stupor all of the time when you could actually live life.

Try the AA, gratis and very supportive. You just did not try hard enough. In any case it is an illness and can only be cured with the help of others. You don’t remove your own appendix!
Peace.
