I was a drug counselor for 18 years and meth is one of the worst drugs around. But Adderal gets just as bad in the long run for adults. They tend to ha have heart and lung issues and kidney issues as they get older. Also people tend to mix amphet with alcohol and that really is dangerous

If you are taking them as ordered by your doctor (swallowing, not snorting or shooting…and taking the prescribed amount), it’s okay. Legally made amphetamine is completely different from what is considered “methamphetamine” made in someone’s basement. The difference is not the active ingredient (Adderall is a mixed amphetamine salt) but the inert ingredients which in the basement variety may be brake fluid, battery acid, who knows what. And those are the ingredients that give people the huge holes in their skin and can give them brain damage.
Not that people can’t get amphetamine psychosis from prescription tabs. But if you’re being followed by a psychiatrist (I know GPs order Adderall and Ritalin too, but psychiatrists tend to dose it a little better) and taking the amount prescribed that would be unlikely. Plus, if you were going to have a weird reaction to it, it would happen immediately (or within a few days) not because you were on it for a long time.
Namaste.
