do you mean legal?
that shit reaal bad for you, worse than illegal weed.
I know this sounds weird but I would recomend using real weed instead, and niether is addicting so it shouldn’t be that hard to stop.
but I have heard of serious addiction to weed with some people, so maybe.

He needs to see a psychiatrist or therapist. Fake weed has no addictive chemical properties. This means his dependency on it is psychological. Some of it is in fact more dangerous than the real thing, as it is not regulated, and often made only for profit.
He can try replacing the addiction with another habit, such as smoking an herbal pipe blend.
I am not a probation officer, but I don’t think smoking legal substances will violate his probation. Also, I am not aware of anyone going to rehab for this, and am fairly sure that would be an extreme treatment for a minor problem.
He may also be lying about his “addiction” to it as an excuse to smoke it.
You may also want to reconsider getting married to a “responsible” person who is on probation. Responsible actions don’t typically lead to arrest, conviction, or probation, and you have to consider the message you are sending your daughter by staying with him. Especially if he got addicted to something that is not even addictive.
