As I understand it, “Social Withdrawal” is anti-social behavior which can have many causes. Usually depression, bipolar disorder just to name a couple. When someone is anti-social they should be consulting a medical doctor and/or mental health professional because “Social Withdrawal” usually indicates either a mental illness or other health problem that should be treated. I am not a doctor but we see a lot of social withdrawal in todays age of internet addiction and social pressures at work or in personal life. I hope this helps.
