My moms an alcoholic and is trying to see me while I’m back at home. I live up in the city where I go to school at because I would not move back in with her after I left for college. She has been verbally and emotionally abusie to me my whole life. I want to tell her that I love her but I’m afraid to see her the way she is. I don’t want to lie about why I don’t want to see her but at the same time be respectful and nice as possible. What should I tell her?
