Psychiatrist/Menal Hospital Lawsuit – Wrong diagnosis, treatment, paper errors, allergic reactions?

Question by Kristopher: Psychiatrist/Menal Hospital Lawsuit – Wrong diagnosis, treatment, paper errors, allergic reactions?
I am an Honor’s Student at University.

My family and I went to the hospital because of a wrongful event that caused me to be involuntary hospitalized with Thorazine and Risperdal Consta. We wanted counsel on the previous treatment.

I developed extreme reactions from the medication. I have gained 30 pounds and become disabled.

About 2-4 weeks later, we went to another hospital for correct treatment and understanding of what happened, but the Doctor prescribed more anti-psychotic medication (Invega Sustenna) for a disorder that I’ve never been diagnosed with before (Schizoaffective disorder and Mania).

I told the Doctor I wanted an MRI and EEG done before any treatment was given, and he failed to substantiate his diagnoses or treatment plan. He would say things such as:

“I don’t want to meet with you.”
“I don’t have time to see you.”
“Don’t show me these documents.”
“Are you dating a girlfriend?” Over and over he would ask.

He used the highest dose, and then after the event, I had to file for disability because I was no longer able to work or operate normal after the anti-psychotic injection.

We have secured medical records, and then are horrifying with incorrect information and observations. There were problems with incorrect papers that were filed upon my intake.

My mother is anorexic and uses cocaine.

There is no family history of schizophrenia. The Doctor didn’t even meet with me before giving the medication. Lacking proper testing, and general experience was extremely poor.

Doctor made statements such as:

“Patient very pleased with treatment.”
“Hallucinating.”
“Delusional.”
“Violent.”
“Attacking staff.”

There was no communication with staff, the doctor, or the pharmacist.

Additional Details
Statute of Limitation: Michigan (2 years)

We were in such a shock after the event that we had to collect ourselves from the mental hospital attack.

It’s been about 18 months since the debilitating injection. We are beginning to seek legal counsel because of the event. The hospital ruined my academic and professional future.

Diagnoses: I’ve had a childhood of autism and developmental disorders, but never schizophrenia. My current diagnoses of Asperger’s Syndrome.

Additional notes: I have a accident. Doctors thought I was delusional for speaking with inflection. I play the Clarinet and Piano. My family is Polish, I’ve travel abroad. Doctors or staff never even posted the question asking of I was of international origin.

Sounds pretty hopeless from what you and others say – but hey – it could be worse – those doctors could have disabled you so badly you could have spent the rest of your life in a coma being fed via a tube up your nose and screaming at god and heaven for doing it to you

Lets face it – you could write a book about your life and publish it on Amazon Kindle slandering those doctors for their incompetence and forcing them to prove their innocence to prove your slander

They might have wrecked your academic and professional life – but might have made you very very rich without realising it – heck – you might end up grateful to god and heaven for doing it to you
