I was just prescribed Yasmin for prolonged, heavy bleeding due to perimenopause.

Anyone else take Yasmin for the same reason?
Did it help or not?
I am 40 years old.

Guess it’s a common medical recommendation for your situation…how old are you? Personally I use herbs specific for female hormone issues…you can always check into that as an option. Normal for the body to have the ups and downs of estrogen during this time…and as I am a ‘Natural’ practitioner, that’s what I lean towards. Maybe someone else who has used the pill can give you more info.

This is what these pills are actually for. Too many people use them for “recreational use”. Read the insert for potential side effects, watch for them, don’t smoke, and talk with your doctor about them. It is always better to be over-informed.
