I’m prescribed adderall and am currently required to take random Urinalyses.
Because of the adderall, will I test positive for amphetamines?
and since I’m prescribed adderall, could I possibly get away with doing MDMA?
Will the test be able to know the difference between the 2 different amphetamines or will I just test positive for amphetamines?

Assuming they test for it, you should… that’s why you need to bring in any prescriptions so you don’t get fired/jailed/whatever (depending on what the test is for) by failing it.
It depends on what particular test it is, whether it’s testing for categories of drugs or more specific tests… but if you’re taking one amphetamine, do you really want to double up on that? There’s all sorts of problems doubling up can cause including heart problems, circulation issues, and other issues. Please see http://www.drugs.com/adderall.html (the same printout that your pharmacist should give you for the Adderall) for more information on the restrictions, warnings, and side effects. It does say that too much of amphetamines can cause: “symptoms may include restlessness, tremor, muscle twitches, rapid breathing, confusion, hallucinations, panic, aggressiveness, unexplained muscle pain or tenderness, muscle weakness, fever or flu symptoms, and dark colored urine. These symptoms may be followed by depression and tiredness. Other overdose symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, uneven heartbeats, feeling light-headed, fainting, seizure (convulsions), or coma.”

[edit]: Actually, MDMA has “a chemical structure similar to the stimulant methamphetamine” and can have similar effects. That has nothing to do with purity, but it’s still not a great idea to overlap

You will test positive for amphetamines, because of the adderall. However MDMA is not an amphetamine but it may include amphetamine, if you do not test your pills you will not know. Different tests look for different drugs. In general, less than 1% of MDMA remains in your system after 48 hours.
