What is blue frosting?(snorting)?

Question by akw06: What is blue frosting?(snorting)?
I recently found out that a group of my closest friends is snorting what they call blue frosting. They all seem to have changed as far as their attitudes and behavior go and I am extremely concerned. I have tried to research what blue frosting is but keep coming up with nothing. I have been told by a few people that it is a form of meth and by another that it is a highly refined, potent version of cocaine. Others have said that it could be a kind of bath salts, or even pills. If you have any idea what blue frosting is please help, also any signs, symptoms, or affects that you know of would be useful and appreciated!

Well to “blow blue” is to inhale cocaine. So, I’m guessing it’s a form of cocaine they’re snorting. Which is bad. Highly addictive. Look up the symptoms of cocaine use.

More than likely they are referring to the pills known as Oxycontin. The pills themselves come in a variety of colors, however, the most popular version is an 80 mg round pill marked OC on one side and 80 on the other. The pill is an opiate analgesic used to treat severe pain related to diseases in which high doses of pain medication are needed at regular intervals. The pill has a time release which can be removed, if preferred, prior to crushing and snorting. Otherwise the crushed powder has a consistency that resembles blue frosting. The drug itself has recently been condemned in the media, blamed for what has been labeled an epidemic of drug addiction and related crime. Very few pills can be snorted, and even fewer substances worth abusing are actually blue. I’m quite sure this is what they’re talking about.
