Making pacts with friends in regards to quitting drugs; is it a plan doomed to failure?

Question by Hadilf Otler: Making pacts with friends in regards to quitting drugs; is it a plan doomed to failure?
Me and a friend made a mutual agreement to cease cannabis intake. He said I can ring him anytime to check on his progress and vise versa. I have been doing very well, it’s been a whole month. but whenever i bring the subject up with him he doesn’t want to discuss it. What the hell is going on?

1) He might of caved in, I have never done Cannabis but from what I know it is hard to quit, maybe he needs professional help.

2) He might find it easier to just not talk about it and work it out on his own.

Anyways, well done on your own success!

I hope this has helped in some way. 🙂
