I’m talking about just putting one of them in your room. My mom is hearing crazy “facts” from her friends that putting onions in each room in your house will lower the chances of getting sick. No I’m not a troll btw. ._______.

No… That is utterly retarded.

EATING an onion will help your immune system because it is full of Sulfur Compounds and other vitamins and enzymes that are very very good for you and help stimulate the flora and fauna in your gut, but just putting one in your bedroom?

Your mom is friends with people that are really really stupid.

I’ve actually looked in to onions and garlic and what they contain because my family eats much more than average when it comes to sulfurous vegetables and my doctor said we might crave them because our family just needs more sulfur than others.

Eating a lot of garlic and onions helps keep the good stuff that lives in your stomach healthy while repressing growth of the bad stuff and though a lot of what people go around saying about garlic and onions has been debunked, eating garlic and onions AFTER you get sick actually does help your healing time.

But I’ll say it again… Putting an onion in a room and expecting it to do more than sit there is like saying that if you glue a magnet to your forehead, it will cure brain cancer.

Utter nonsense.
