“Me Not Meth”


 

“Me Not Meth” – In collaboration with California Alcohol and Drug Programs, Edelman launched a public education campaign to address methamphetamine use across the state. After measuring audience awareness and understanding through surveys and audits of meth-related chat rooms and focus groups, we utilized a grassroots approach and targeted on-and-offline, gay and bisexual, and entertainment media to reach our target populations. The result: 40% of respondents mentioned this campaign as the main message they heard about meth in 2008. Hear more about this effort from Jackie Quintanilla, Vice President, Health.
