Britney Spears’ troubled past came back to haunt her yesterday as the trial between her former manager Sam Lutfi and her family got ugly. Sam Lutfi is suing Britney for 15% of her earnings that she allegedly promised him in the eight months he was her manager back in 2007. He is also suing her Mom Lynne Spears for alleging in her 2008 book “Through the Storm” that he drugged Britney and cut her off from her family. He is suing Britney’s Dad for supposedly punching him in the chest in January 2008. Woah, those are quite lofty claims from Sam. But that’s just the beginning. In the trial, Sam’s lawyer told the jury Britney’s use of amphetamine was the cause of her downfall. He also said she suffered from paranoid delusions at the time and used her head shaving stint as evidence. He claims Britney shaved her head because she heard drug testing could be done via hair and she didn’t want to lose custody of her two sons. All this makes us uneasy, as ‘X Factor’ judge Britney is doing so well these days, we wish her past could just stay in the past. But Sam Lutfi’s lawyer’s accusation weren’t done yet.
