How much Aspirin do I need to take to get the same effect of Oxycodone?
Question by g r: How much Aspirin do I need to take to get the same effect of Oxycodone?
A low dose pill containing Oxycodone every night was the only thing that got me to sleep. Now I am forced to pick things over-the-counter because my doctor won’t give more and I am suffering (not addicted). I got a big bottle of Aspirin… I hope that it is better than Acetaminophen & Ibruprofen. What is your take? What is the most effective out of the 3? So how many should I take, or maybe I should take one of each? Somebody who knows this stuff help me…
what part of “that was the only thing that got me to sleep” didn’t you understand? I don’t appreciate responses from people who don’t read my post. Just make me suffer more.
it is not nessessarily pain the way most people would think it, it is more of a slow torture of insomnia and sleep deprivation that has grown to be a real live pain for me. i am always dizzy, lightheaded and wobbly with a complete lack of enery every minute i am awake. i can not sleep no matter how exhausted i am, i am extremely anxious and irritated. i havent been able to hold a job or do any normal activities in years and this has taken the best years of my life away from me. every day i need at least 12 hours i sleep in order to get up and feel somewhat normal and be able to resume normal activities like hanging up posters in my room, brushing my teeth, etc. I feel am young man and slim but I feel like an obese 70 year old man. my doctor doesn’t understand or listen. the only thing that ever worked for me and soothed all my ailments and gave me my life back was oxycodone.
To the spinal surgeon- I only got a bottle of 15 endocets (5 oxycodone and 325 acetaminophen) to originally relieve a stomach pain. then i found it worked for sleep so i only took 1 occasionally over a period of like 9 months. i used em sparingly becuz i thought i might not get more. but wud have liked to use every 2nd day or so. so how could u say my doctor did a good thing but not giving me more?

I don’t see how aspirin will help you to sleep. Try Tylenol PM. That would probably help you more if you’re just looking for something for sleep.
