Report On Child Sexual Abuse?

Question by Esme: Report On Child Sexual Abuse?
For A Gcse option I took health and social btec and I have to create a poster on different forms of child abuse. I’ve written about pretty much all of them, emotional, mental, physical, But I don’t know what to write about sexual abuse, I don’t really know much about it as we haven’t learnt about it yet.
I have to write about “Signs that could suggest a child is being sexually abused” does anybody know any? all I could think of was bruises/cuts.

Some signs rather then: Bruises, cuts etc would be Emotional signs maybe all of a sudden the child is acting different they’re emotions have changed drastically from being happy to almost looking like they’re depressed Also If maybe they’ve being doing self-harm to themselves (cutting, taking drugs, drinking etc) because they cannot cope with the situation. (Of course this varies for teenagers)

If the child is under 10 years old, I suggest just look for many cuts, bruises. And listen to what the child has to say. If they bring up that they are being abused at home, or someone has hurt them at home or anyone really. It’s come to the fact that they’ve been sexually abused.
