Is this an Addict…..?

Question by T: Is this an Addict…..?
a person who used a lot of meth (and other drugs heavily) as a teenager with all the traditional “addict” problems, quit that and was drinking heavily (sometimes with a few other drugs) through college with some addictive behaviors but not really out of control, quit that and has successfully been drinking socially (an occasional binge) for the last 3 years with no addictive behaviors and without following a treatment plan.

When I say traditional “addict” problems I mean everything…urges, physical dependance, denial, doing it alone, obsession, etc. And to clarify the social drinking…its whatever the group is up to…if its long-haul drinking then so be it, if its just a beer or two that’s fine too. But not drinking too often and still willing to do other stuff if out camping or something.
