questions on Meth..?

If one smokes meth.. how long does it stay in their system and how long do the symptoms last?? my bf has a problem with it.. and after about 4 days of smoking it.. he gets SCARY.. a COMPLETLEY different person.. when he first smokes it, he is on cloud 9 and all happy go lucky.. but a few days later.. he is a MONSTER… is this about right??

Also.. If one INJECTS meth with needles.. I kno they become high like instantaneously.. but do they become even MORE violent/depressed/aggitated/crazy than if they just smoked it/snorted it?

I am very very naive on ALL of this.. i have never ever done ANY drugs..

i got involved with this guy 3 months ago and as recent as last week.. he has done a complete 180 with his personality/the way he is with his moods.. they change every hour.. its so sad.

I am just reading stuff on google bout meth and the symptoms and he SWEARS he doesn’t inject it, but he has a friend who does and when im at his house with him.. he says he has to “help” him
his friend inject it into him because his friend cant do it himself.. i kno this sounds odd doesn’t it?? it makes me think that HE (my bf) is injecting it too, but he swears he doesn’t..

When they go into the bathroom though.. i am not allowed in there with them.. i walked by the bathroom when the door was open before and they slammed it and told me they’d be out in a minute.

I am at a loss of what to think and do bout all this.
