help with drug addiction?
Question by : help with drug addiction?
I’ve been an on and off meth user for 10 years. It used to control my life, until I got a handle on it. I didn’t touch the drug for 3 years. Last year I ended up using for a few months then stopped again. Then recently, I used about 5 different times. I don’t have a “need”, or “cravings” for it. I just end up using when its around me. But not all the time. I’ve said no more than yes to the drug. Is there anybody else that has or is going through similiar events. Can a person just stop and say thats it and keep some friends that still use. I’ve been to treatment before to, so dont say go to treatment.

It depends from how strong your will is.
It’s very hard for someone on a diet to watch other people eat.
With drugs it’s only worse.
If it was me, I would try to avoid being there when other people are using.
