it’s such an amazing drug. I’ve been researching it and it’s like a miracle drug. Virtually no harmful side effects.. it’s been used in
a general anesthetic
a treatment for insomnia (sleeplessness) and narcolepsy (a daytime sleeping disorder)
an aid to childbirth (it enhances cervical dilation)
a treatment for alcoholism and drug abuse (it eases the withdrawal syndrome)
an anti-anxiety, anti-stress, and anti-depressant agent
Unlike alcohol too, when you go to sleep from it, you get a great more restful sleep than normal. You sleep more deeply in stages 1,2,3, 4 and rem sleep. Which makes it better for staying healthy and it even gives an increased amount of muscle growth.
Pretty much it is very similar to alcohol but doesn’t damage organs or the brain. and doesn’t leave you with a nasty hangover the next day.
Fda argues that it’s used as a “date rape drug” but in reality Centuries of experience have confirmed that the date-rape drug of choice is alcohol (“candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker.”). Current statistics from the U.S. Justice Department confirm that 70% of “acquaintance rape” or “date rape” involves the use of alcohol. Although GHB has been available for decades, only recently have there been reports of its use in date rape.
Regardless of GHB’s status, consumer education about date rape is needed. It is unreasonable to assume that scheduling will eliminate GHB use by criminally inclined individuals any more than alcohol prohibition during the 1920s eliminated alcohol’s use for such purposes.
If they would just provide education on date rape they could market this drug as a better alternative to alcohol and tax it. Also, to make it harder to slip into an unsuspecting victims drink they could make a law so that all ghb must made with some type of distinct bitter taste and color so it would be very difficult to get away with.
those saying that it’s dangerous and you stated that your friend went into a coma… that’s only because she must have combined it with alcohol which is something you should never do.
And most everyone else’s answers didn’t make sense. If you’re going to tell me I’m wrong… then at least research it and KNOW that I’m wrong. Instead of making up some scenario and try to show how it’s “dangerous”

Don’t know why, I would study it for a year and if its safe release it if I was the government. Anyways I heard that, that exact drug was used it a toy that a baby ate and died from. It completely shut down its own nervous system. I say its safe for pills but not in toys.
