Haere mai
Haere mai – Maoake was the leader of the most well known secular group in the nation, the only Tahitian group that played in venues in Europe where the Beatles and other famous groups performed. He was led to the Lord by one of our team a few months back but struggled with his addiction to crystal meth and ended up in prison, for less than a month. While in prison he was deeply touched by the Lord and I have written to you of the outpouring of God in the only prison in this nation, and Maoake came under that visitation. While there, God began to give him songs and at our school last week, he came and sang 10 songs God had given him which was a phenomenal thing to be a part of, ending up with many of our students prophesying over him and God began moving in extraordinary ways in the meeting, touching many powerfully as a result. We were not able to record the songs but did find one where he just sang a cappela Haere Mai, which means come. We say Varua moa haere mai which means “come Holy Spirit” in Tahitian. The pictures depict ministry on the island of Moorea, some scenes at Marama Night of different groups ministering, including the little girl in one scene, hip hop youth in another, and another dance group. You will see Alex ministering prophetically along with others at our prophetic and healing tables at McDonalds.
