Meth Addict: Drug problems on the west coast.

As a young man I was your typical high school drop out,Smoking marijuana and drinking, party down and live it up,The typical mentality that you see these days.

However when I made the move to the west coast, A whole new evil was brought to my attention.

The major problem the west coast has with Crystal Meth.

I always thought of myself as mentally acute, with a sharp sense of perception and the ability to learn things strictly based off observations.

I was simply unprepared for the rate of addiction that is sweeping the west coast.

I met a man named darry, Who at the time was a crystal meth addict.I mistook him for a mentally disturbed person at first, until the first night I tried crystal meth myself.

It took a hold of me and threw me 1000 miles an hour hurling towards what can only be described as feeling like SUPERMAN on fire.

I was strong, smart, powerful, and had no fears or concerns about anything in the world, short of how awesome I felt.

Nothing could stand in my way, nothing could deter me, I was a force to be reckoned with.

But enough about my own testings, My point is that this feeling, this concept of power, is what hooks people with dangerous and addictive substances exactly like crystal meth.

There are so many subcultures and areas in the US, specifically the west coast, Oregon, California, Washington, Where crystal meth is an acceptable part of daily life, and has been integrated into every day activities, such as work, and school, and socialization.

I personally feel someday meth will need to be a offense punishable by life in prison, or the epidemic that we see today will never change, in fact I feel it will only get worse as time moves on.

I watched a documentary the other day, a 6 part hour long video documentary of a BBC man who went to Nor-Cal and spent some time with meth addicts, watched their daily lives, and learned how they function as a group.

It really opened my eyes to how accepted the drug itself is,And how terrible of a problem it’s becoming for the world today.

Do yourself a HUGE favor, and never, ever, try Crystal Meth.

Ask any addict, it only takes one time, and you’re hooked.
