What´s the difference between a “busy file” and a “currently in-use” file?

I am translating a text, here is some context:

“XXX does not currently backup Outlook files or other busy files”

Not much. A “busy” file is one that’s open by some application. “Currently in-use” probably means that some app is specifically using the file at that moment. Busy files don’t have to be in-use, just flagged as open.
