I’ve recently heard something along these lines on a TV show
Was it CSI? Maybe, doesn’t really matter…

A murder victim had short fingernails, apart from the right hand’s little finger – that nail was longer. Comment by pathologist: “Ah, a regular cocaine user.”

Could somebody enlighten me? What does a longer fingernail on one hand’s little finger have to do with cocaine abuse?

They would put the cocaine under the small fingernail to help them snort it.
