Question by Melissa L: Do You Like It When Soaps Tackle Serious Problems or Situations?
Instead of infidelity and jealousy issues; do you think SOAPS should go more in depth with more serious problems?

Things like drug/alcohol addiction, terminal illness, spousal abuse, guns, racial discrimination…

Do you like all of the infidelity and the who is the daddy type stories, or do you wish to see more serious things explored more often?

I watch mainly the Y&R and the B&B.
I think the young and the restless deals with serious issues and l learn a lot from them. It’s ok to have the who’s the daddy stories but there is a good balance between the “soap life” and “real life”.
