Taylor Hospitalized for Heart Congestion
Fen Yi Chen Elizabeth Taylor was hospitalized earlier this week due to an ailing heart, LA.com reports . Taylor was admitted to Cedars-Sinai for congestive heart failure, which her publicist says, is an “ongoing disorder.” The two time Oscar winner had surgery on a leaky valve in 2009 and has had complications since then, Reuters reports. read more

Lecture to spread awareness on drugs organised
The Permanent Committee for Drugs and Alcohol Affairs (PCDAA) organised an awareness lecture on Monday at Doha Academy on drugs. The lectures were given by PCDAA secretary Major Ibrahim Mohamed al-Sameeh, and Hamad Medical Corporation’s consultant psychiatrist Dr Taher Shaltout.
