Colorado currently ranks #8 in the country for Meth usei and it is estimated the drug costs the state $1.4 billion annually, including more than $73000 per dependent user. It is among the top six states for identity theft, largely due to Meth use, and 70% of Colorado counties report increased foster care placements due to Meth. Nationally, the annual cost of Meth use is estimated at more than $23 billion.
