I need facts/numbers on politics to prove teacher wrong.?
Question by mrnoodles: I need facts/numbers on politics to prove teacher wrong.?
Nearly everyday in class, we get into a political debate. My teacher is an ignorant Republican who is very closed minded on other views. I am not a Republican nor a Democrat but rather an Independent but I am heavily interested in politics. No matter who was President, I always stood up for them when scrutinized. Usually, I have little trouble. But lately, she has been using Republican tactics, i.e. false numbers and contradictory statements. Also, she has been using “facts” about our current problems and how the Democrats or, at the very least, the President are to blame. I would like to share some information with the class and to her about how she is wrong and paradoxical. I have many numbers as well as facts but I would like a few more to make my point stronger. I would mostly like things about the economic stimulus plan or how this presidency is already better than the previous.

The problem with presidencies and recessions is that you can’t really judge how they went until several months after they’re over.
