Why are people so negative?

Question by Candice Powell: Why are people so negative?
Why are some of the people on here so condesending and negative? I asked a personal question and recieved some not great advice and frankly, judgemental, so-called “help”. I thought the point of giving advice was to offer a possible solution to a problem, not to cut the person when they’re down? If a person is emotionally upset I wouldn’t tell them such mean things! I mean come on!!!! If I knew that would happen, I would never have posted ANY question on here!!! I will never understand and for those that were very mean and degrading…I reported abuse. I am just in amazment at the cold and uncaring attitudes of some. For those who give good advice and are well meaning, you are what this site is supposed to be about….GOOD FOR YOU!!!!
