Silvercloud Speaks: FROM INFECTION TO ADDICTION at 12 Years

In 1953, following several months of persistant and increasing pain in his shoulder, Silvercloud was disagnosed with Osteomyelitis (an infection of the bone or bone marrow, usually caused by bacteria). What soon followed was a maze of ineffective treatments and experimental drugs, all amidst a haze of morphine given to reduce the otherwise unrelenting aches of the disease. Hear in his own words how the doctors finally cure the infection but, in the process, make young Silvercloud a morphine addict with a habit to kick at age twelve.
