I’ve noticed that most people in my family are drug addicts and/or alcoholics. I’d say about 80%. I have suffered from my own addictions over the last few years…

I was just wondering if addiction and alcoholism are hereditary traits.

It’s not – the only reason it seems to get passed down is because addiction and alcoholism is around while you’re being raised as a kid, so it just seems normal.
