I have a problem with certain substances that I wish not to list. I have tried to quit many times before but never can fully walk away from it. I had my first taste of the stuff while I was a freshman of highschool. I barely graduted because of my addition. I have found away to just care enough for things other than substance abuse to keep things a float in my life. I am a very bright person dispite being addicted to something. I am going through on line classes with hopes to become a paralegal. I have gotten through 8 months of schooling, and I work full time most of the time. Also, I have to care for three kids and a girlfriend that is pregrant with twins. I want to stop using but i just can’t find a way too. I need to stop before I slip and loose everything. My girlfriend knows about my addiction. I have been through a substance abuse program before. Instead doing the program right, I befriended the Counselor and got away with everything wrong. It would be lie if I said I didn’t con my way through that one. Like I said I found a way keep a balance of my two worlds. Enviably , I know I will have to make a choice. One life or the other. I want to choose my family and get clean for good. BUT….There is always a monkey on my back. I am 25 and sick of using but can’t stop. What should I do? I know I got a problem but need help to keep clean.

You can start by telling the doctors. Have some gum. Try to NOT remember addiction and start a new hobby.
