my mom is an alcoholic, and i’m so sick of seeing her like that. She has messed up her kids lifes with worrying if she’s gonna die, still even after our dad died of cancer. I feel that she is selfish, because she won’t go to get help. after all these years, i’m 27 and have to care for my sister since forever. my mom drank with her while she was pregnant, and years later my sister still has prblems learning. I just feel life is hard because All my life I had to be mom even before I was a mom. Now I struggle, because i spent my entire life dealing with my parents(oh did I say my dad was on crack?)crap! I would owned my own house buy now, but when he died everything went hay wire, and once agian i’m taking care of my sister and I can’t afford it. I just wish she would get help so she can take care of her child, and i can move on with my life! I’m married with three kids, am i selfish for wanting to be done with my mom and sister so i can have a life?

you cant help people they have to first want to help themselves
