cocaine and alcohol addiction?

Question by Nekko: cocaine and alcohol addiction?
I know this girl who used to do cocaine on a daily basis and was pretty much addicted to it, but shes been sober for a few years now yet has turned to alcohol and drinks almost every day in the morning and everything. i dont understand can someone just stop using cocaine and get addicted to alcohol instead?

Well they’re too separate drugs, and by the sound of it, she’s still trying to cope with her coke addiction and is masking it with alcohol.
