Question by juandemecio: Why so many people uses the phrase “despict the fact” so often, when the word dispict doesn’t even exists?
My word spelling software did not recognize it and the websearch did not find any definitions on the web!
I understand the the correct way of saying it is: “Despite the fact” if you do a search on the web you will find many pages with the wrong spelling, that is why I am asking, not because I do not know! Thanks

because your ass spelled it wrong. it is spelled despite!
