Question by Emily: How do you stop an alcoholic from drinking?
Okay so my cousin lives with me,my mom, my 2 sisters and my other cousin. & he keeps drinking, like everyday! & when he drinks, he treats my family like crap. We’ve tried to get him to stop but it’s not working. We don’t want to kick him out because he’s family & we love him. We don’t know how to make him stop. Any suggestions? Please help me, I really need it. Thanks.

It’d be like trying to stop a runaway train with your bare hands. You either sit him down and tell him like it is, or you use tough love and kick him out.
