Question by Terry the Klown: Is there such a thing as drug interventions, but for religion? If there is, is it even legal?
The only reason I ask this question is because I recall watching a program which tells of many teenage kids who are either kidnapped or forced by their parents (it was one of those two. I think it was kidnapping) to attend religion camps (or devil-worship rehabilitation) where they are forced to stay for a year or so in an attempt to ‘bring them back to the light’.

Is this sort of thing legal?
Edit: Perhaps kidnapping isn’t the right word.
Whatever the word is, the kids are taken against their, but with their parents’ consent.

kidnapping is not legal in the U.S. nor Canada.
