I have read several articles and studies in the past that there is a possibly (not necessarily) a correlation between gay and bi males and mental illness including depression. I have read that gay and bi males (some, not all) have been more prone to mental illnesses, including:
1.Substance abuse d/o (Alcohol and drug abuse, addiction and dependency)
2. Anxiety d/o
3. Impulse control d/o
4. Depression/ Major depressive d/o
5. Psychotic Depression
6. Psychotic / Psychosis d/o

Also, these illnesses, which I have NO IDEA what they mean, and NEVER HEARD OF THEM, but I am reading these off of a list.

6. Aspergers d/o
7. Schizoaffective d/o
8. Bipolar/manic/hysteria d/o

Can you tell me of each of the 8, which you heard from with a y, and a n if you never heard of it. Also, if you tell me if any of the above illnesses affected you or other gay or bi guys that you know, or are aware of any of the conditions that affect them.
I am gay and I have 1, 2, 3 & 5.
