I’m a complete addict and I’ve hit rock bottom. I feel totally pathetic, and totally lost. I’ve done a fine job at convincing every one that loves me and can help me, that I’ve been totally sober for months. My family says that they can finally sleep at night, and I so want that to be true, but I’m a fraud that has the worst addiction possible- heroine. I smoke it though, and NEVER will go the other route(slamming). I don’t know how to get the kahones to break my mothers heart again. I know that I’m serious about getting sober this time because I never felt this way about it before. I’ve been to a dozen rehabs. I guess that rock bottom wasn’t low enough though. Now I have exhausted EVERY single resource I had, and can’t live like this anymore. So, basically, what I’m trying to get at is if anyone knows how to kick heroine without “outing” myself and saving my mother a heart attack. Is there anything I can do to reduce the pain other than methadone or suboxone? I have no $ for it.

unfortunately Heroine is one of the drugs that cause physical dependence and so you need drugs to overcome it, in contrary to pot or other stuff that only cause psychologicl addiction.

The good news is there is a lot of places, at least in the US. that can help you, and give you the methadone for free or at a reduced price, while maintaining your privacy. by law if you went to a methadone clinic and you told them you don’t want your mother to know, they can’t tell her even if you are underage
