drug problems, need advice?

so my boyfriend has a drug problem. not just weed, more along the lines of pills, meth, coke, ect. (not herion)
he already knows he has a problem. he has many supporters… and people who think he will never change. i know he wants to change, but he is addicted. drugs do him.
he has come close to overdosing two times.

he just entered rehab about a week and a half ago. most people say, that rehab doesn’t help at all the first time you attend. i’m wondering, if theres a chance that it can effect him ?

i’m in love with him. forgetting about him is out of the question.
what can i do for him?
does anyone have experiences with this?
oh and is it bad that he is more worried about hurting me and his friends and family more than hurting himself?

he is 16; i’m 14.
i’m familiar with drugs and whatnot. just asking for advice.

There is nothing you can do for him. Using drugs is a choice. And he chose drugs over you, his family, and his future. As you said, he isn’t smoking weed and drinking. He’s using hard drugs and he’s only 16. His future is death babe. Move on unless you want to join him.
