Once Was Nice, Twice is Better – HeartInfo.org Wins Another World Wide Web Health Award

Following up on last year’s award, HeartInfo was praised again by a panel of judges for its content and overall quality in providing information that helps consumers stay healthy or prevent disease.

The World Wide Web Health Awards is a program that recognizes the best health-related Web sites for consumers and professionals. The program is held twice a year – spring and fall – with the goal of providing a “seal of quality” for electronic health information. A panel of international health information and Internet experts judged the entries based on their quality and depth of content, site design, ease of navigation, and overall appeal to users.

HeartInfo.org is an independent, educational Web site that provides consumers with information and services for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
