Question by slynch93: Can I still get a job in the CIA or the State Department if I have a small drug history?
When I was 17 I smoked a small amount of marijuana and popped Adderall and Vicodin pills for a small time period. I never got arrested or went to rehab because of the drugs. I stopped and now I am completely clean of any substances. Is it still possible for me to get a job in the CIA or the State Department? Because I know that they do look at your drug history, but they said “In the last 12 months”.

If there is no legal record of your past drug usage there is no way for the government to know you used them. Fortunately marijuana/pills don’t stay in your system for a lifetime.
