It is a good book, but not a “usual” good book. While I was reading it, and it’s sequel Glass, I was actually thinking, “this girl’s life cannot possibly get any worse, why can’t it just end now?” By the second book, I actually hated the main character, that’s how angry I was at her, but I had to keep reading, because the book was so captivating. Even so i would recommend it, because it’s one of those books that everyone should read. Just don’t pick it up if you’re in the mood for a happy-go-lucky book.
One thing’s for sure, reading that was enough to scare me away from ever doing drugs.
