What rights does a Mom with an addiction have?

Question by Kelly: What rights does a Mom with an addiction have?
My sister has 2 kids with a man she is NOT married to. She has had some recent bouts with alcohol and depression. She will not leave her boyfriend because she is afraid with her addiction past she will lose her kids, so she would rather stay with him than chance not seeing her kids. Her kids have witnessed her drunk and beligerant. She is currently in an outpatient group program but has relapsed 3 times in two weeks. Her relapses come from not wanting to be in the this relationship and turning to alcohol to cope. I personally dont think she is a full blown alcoholic because she doesnt drink everyday but I think she has some form of alcoholism. She has an addictive personality in general. I think if she left her bf, she would not drink. She says she is so unhapppy. She has no education, no job, no money. She has me and only me. Our Mom died 10 years ago, which she is reliving her death again (which I dont understand why after 10 years). I have offered my home, my heart, my money and everything I have to help her get out of this situation and she is still scared and will not leave. Her bf is not abusive but is shady and has a dirty lawyer. Hes one of those guys that “knows a guy” for everything. We know he will use her addiction issues against her when it comes to fighing for the kids, even though he has never changed a diaper, blew a nose or wiped a tear. If it wasnt for her kids, I truly believe she would not be here today.
